Fund Programs That Students Need
STAR (Student and Teacher Achievement and Recognition) grants pay for important teacher-directed, student-centered programs not funded by the school district. When it comes to knowing what is needed to motivate, educate, and reward our children, teachers know best. Each school, each class, and each student is unique. Donating to STAR supports classroom academics and special projects for Kindergarten through 8th-grade children that would not happen without your support.
UTBEF’s STAR Grants serve the following elementary and middle schools in Upper Pinellas and Hillsborough counties:

Become a Community All-STAR
Community All-STARs are businesses and individuals that make STAR grants for 20 local elementary and middle schools possible. Your donation will support the program and fund schools in need. Join the Community All-STARs and “Empower Students and Teachers in Our Community.” Every donation makes a difference. A sponsorship of $500 or more earns you a Community All-STAR certificate to be proudly displayed in your home, office, place of business and school.
