Our winner was also an active member of the Mu Theta Alpha  Mathematics Honor Society and Chemistry clubs and also served as a volunteer math tutor for other students.

High School has been quite a journey for he and his mother and involved several homes and moves.  But he has used this to his advantage saying that this enabled him “to meet a plethora of genuine and down-to-Earth people that made me desire to be a friendly and charming person.”  Our awardee also observed that once they’re housing situation become more stable that, “My grades began to rise and I formed a desire to do well in school and I also started a work ethic of never giving up and trying my hardest to achieve the impossible. Because of this work ethic, I am able to attend college and have better job opportunities in my future career decisions.”

We can think of few better qualities to prepare for the future than a vision matched with a strong work ethic, a down-to-earth friendly personality and the desire to learn and succeed.  We are honored to be of some small assistance on your  path Brandon.  Keep that never quit attitude!
